Surespan were chosen to manufacture over 500 access hatches for the Kahramaa Water Security Mega Reservoirs Project.
Being 436,633.45 cubic metres, this reservoir holds the guinness record for the largest drinking water storage tank in the world. Each reservoirs site will comprise up to nine reservoirs, each of which will be the largest of their type.

SAC flush hatches suitable for 2.5 kN/m² loadings ranging from 1000 x 1000mm to 3000 x 3000mm.
Double leaf access hatches ranging from 1000 x 1000mm to 3000 x 3000mm.
Each featuring;
3 position “auto, open, close” stay put key switch with common key pattern throughout.
Retractable safety grid.
Anodised (natural) aluminium finish.
Limit switches.
