Lusail Iconic Stadium or Lusail National Stadium is an arena under development in Lusail, Qatar. Booked to open in May 2021, the new office will have the last of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Development formally started on 11 April 2017. Its last plan was divulged in December 2018.

The lid will be designed to slide along the length (1900mm) on runners sitting on the roof. Surespan ‘SureGuard’ system, providing a permanent double line 850mm high guard rail around all 4 sides of the hatch with spring loaded gate for added safety.
